Sports Medicine
Phoebe’s Sports Medicine program consists of a specialized team of certified athletic trainers (ATCs) who serve athletes where they are needed the most – in schools and colleges within our region (on the fields and courts). These healthcare professionals work under our Orthopaedic surgeons and specialists in Albany, Americus, and surrounding counties.
The services provided by Phoebe’s ATCs include:
- prevention
- emergency care
- clinical diagnosis
- therapeutic intervention
- rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions
Phoebe Sports Medicine currently serves athletes at the following locations:
High School Level:
- Deerfield Windsor School, Albany
- Dougherty Comprehensive High School, Albany
- Monroe Comprehensive High School, Albany
- Sherwood Christian Academy, Albany
- Southland Academy, Americus
- Terrell Academy, Dawson
- Terrell Middle High School, Dawson
- Westover Comprehensive high School, Albany
University & College Level:
- Albany State University
- Albany Technical College
