Lauren is responsible for foundation special events and the cultivation of sponsor and donor relationships that include Phoebe Foundation's Corporate Honor Roll and Torch Society giving clubs. Before joining the foundation team, she worked for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation where her focus was on fundraising and creating support and awareness for the indigent child care fund. She has nine years of experience in event planning which include celebrity events for the WNBA and NBA, the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Thrashers, NIKE, University of Georgia and Georgia Institute of Technology. Originally from Bremen, Georgia, she attended the University of Georgia where she met her husband Todd, a native Southwest Georgian. Upon moving to the area in 2001, she joined Phoebe's marketing department where her focus was physician relations and service-line marketing. Accepting a position in Phoebe Foundation four years later allowed her to return to her love of non-profit support for those areas most in need. Lauren and her husband, Todd, are the proud parents of their one-year old son, Thomas. She is a member of the Junior League of Albany and currently sits on the board for the Albany Museum of Art. Lauren looks forward to working with you and sharing the worthwhile projects Phoebe Foundation funds for our community hospital.
