Phoebe Paver Program

Here is a very special way to memorialize the birth of a baby, a memorial to a loved one or a special thank you to a friend or medical professional.

The exterior walkway between the main hospital entrance and the hospital tower entrance is paved with thousands of bricks made from our world-famous red Georgia clay, many containing the names of those memorialized in a special celebration of love, respect and life.

Each spring, a dedication ceremony recognizes those who have added new bricks in the name of someone they wish to honor with a paver brick of their own.

You can add the name of someone special with a brick of their own with an inscription of two or three lines for a gift of $75. Imagine the thrill of a child first reading their name memorialized in a lasting tribute to their birth or a family seeing the name of a loved one permanently honored in this way.
